Hà Giang Adventure: Beyond the Ordinary (3D2N itinerary)
DAY 1
7:30 AM – Breakfast in Loop Nomads Hà Giang
8:30 AM – Hà Giang to Bac Sum Pass (~30 km)
Begin the journey with a ride through Bac Sum Pass, one of the most beautiful and challenging passes in the area. Take a short break to enjoy the panoramic views of karst mountains and clear blue skies.
10:00 AM – Bac Sum Pass to Heaven Gate (~15 km)
Continue your ride to Quan Ba Heaven Gate, situated 1,500 meters above sea level. Stop here for a breathtaking view of the town of Quan Ba and the Twin Mountain.
11:00 AM – Heaven Gate to Twin Mountain (~5 km)
A short ride to the Twin Mountain (Co Tien Mountain). Take in the unique shape of the mountain and its changing appearance with the seasons.
12:00 PM – Quan Ba to Yen Minh (~50 km)
Enjoy a leisurely ride to Yen Minh. Stop for lunch in a local restaurant, where you can enjoy traditional vegetarian Vietnamese dishes.
01:30 PM – Drive through Yen Minh (~50 km from Quan Ba)
A beautiful valley with rice paddies and lush green landscapes. We will take breaks along the way to admire the scenery and capture photos.
03:00 PM – Visit Vuong Palace (~10 km from Yen Minh)
This historic palace was built by the Mong people for their King and features intricate architecture reflecting the region's culture and history.
04:30 PM – Continue to Dong Van (~15 km from Vuong Palace)
Enjoy the final stretch of today's journey, passing through the mesmerizing landscapes of Ha Giang.
05:00 PM – Arrive in Dong Van
Check in at a homestay and take some time to relax then enjoy a traditional dinner and unwind after a day of adventure and explore the old quarter, visit the local market, or simply relax at the homestay.
DAY 2
7:30 AM – Breakfast at the homestay
Start your day with a traditional Vietnamese breakfast at the homestay.
08:30 AM – Explore Dong Van Market (If Sunday)
If today is Sunday, we will visit Dong Van Market, where you can experience local customs, traditional cuisine, and interact with ethnic minorities.
09:30 AM – Depart from Dong Van
We begin our drive through the stunning Dong Van Geopark, offering breathtaking mountain views.
10:00 AM – Ma Pi Leng Pass (~20 km from Dong Van)
Known as the "king" of Vietnam’s passes, this iconic route sits at an altitude of 1,200–1,400m. The pass offers incredible panoramic views of the Nho Que River and surrounding limestone mountains.
11:00 AM – Boat trip on Nho Que River
Take a peaceful boat trip along the emerald-green Nho Que River, surrounded by towering cliffs and the majestic Tu San Canyon.
12:30 PM – Lunch in Meo Vac (~10 km from Nho Que River)
We stop at a local restaurant to enjoy a delicious Vietnamese meal.
02:00 PM – Continue to Mậu Duệ (~35 km from Meo Vac)
The drive offers breathtaking mountain landscapes and traditional villages along the way.
03:30 PM – Arrive in Du Gia (~30 km from Mậu Duệ)
A peaceful village surrounded by rice paddies and rolling hills. Check in at the homestay and enjoy the serene environment.

10:00 AM – Ride from Duong Thuong to Thai An (~10 km)
Travel through dense forest paths, experiencing the tranquility of nature along the way then pause for a rest, hydrate, and enjoy the natural beauty before continuing the journey.
11:00 AM – Ride from Thai An to Thuan Hoa (~20 km)
Experience stunning views of mist-covered mountains and deep valleys, stopping at scenic points for photos and then stop for lunch break.
1:30 PM – Ride from Thuan Hoa to Hà Giang (~25 km)
Make the final ride back to Hà Giang, passing through breathtaking landscapes and winding roads.

Hà Giang Adventure: Beyond the Ordinary (4D3N itinerary)
DAY 1

Begin the journey towards Bac Sum Pass, one of the four most scenic and challenging passes in Hà Giang. As we ascend, admire the contrast between the lush green karst mountains and the crystal-clear blue sky.
9:30 AM – Bac Sum Pass to Heaven Gate (~15 km)
Stop at Quan Ba Heaven Gate, located 1,500 meters above sea level. From here, enjoy a panoramic view of Quan Ba town and its surrounding landscapes, including the famous Twin Mountain.
10:00 AM – Heaven Gate to Twin Mountain (~5 km)
The Twin Mountain (Co Tien Mountain) captivates visitors with its changing beauty throughout the seasons. Resembling the breasts of a fairy, its appearance transforms with the landscape, making it a unique natural wonder.
11:00 AM – Quan Ba to Yen Minh (~50 km)
Ride through stunning countryside, stopping occasionally to appreciate the picturesque rice paddies and breathtaking scenery, Then we have our lunch here.
2:00 PM – Yen Minh to Tham Ma Pass (~10 km)
Experience the thrill of riding through Tham Ma Pass, known for its dramatic switchbacks and steep cliffs. This winding road offers some of the most spectacular views in Ha Giang. After conquering the pass, we will see vast cornfields cultivated by the local H’mong people.
3:00 PM – Tham Ma Pass to Lao Xa Village (~20 km)
Arrive at Lao Xa, a remote H’mong village nestled in rocky terrain. The village maintains its pristine landscapes and rich cultural heritage. If visiting in spring, you'll see the village blanketed in the delicate white of plum blossoms and soft pink of peach flowers.
4:30 PM – Lao Xa Village to Sa Phin (~8 km)
Continue to Sa Phin, a town characterized by rugged karst stone formations and lush green meadows. The contrasting landscape creates a stunning visual experience.
5:30 PM – Check-in at the homestay and have dinner in Dong Van
Check in at a homestay and take some time to relax then enjoy a traditional dinner and unwind after a day of adventure and explore the old quarter, visit the local market, or simply relax at the homestay.
DAY 2
7:30 AM – Breakfast at the homestay
Start the day with a delicious breakfast before setting off on the journey.
8:30 AM – Dong Van to Lo Lo Chai Village (~30 km)
Today, we will continue our ride towards Lo Lo Chai Village, a peaceful village near the Vietnam-China border. If today is Sunday, we will stop at the vibrant Dong Van Market, where locals from different ethnic groups gather in colorful traditional attire to trade goods. If not, we head straight to Lo Lo Chai Village, home to the Lo Lo people. Take time to stroll through the village and admire the traditional wooden houses and beautiful mountain landscapes.
10:30 AM – Lo Lo Chai Village to Lung Cu Flag Tower (~3 km)
A short ride takes us to Lung Cu Flag Tower, marking the northernmost point of Vietnam. This historical landmark stands at 23˚ 22′ 59″ North latitude and 105˚ 19′ 21″ East longitude, offering a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and Chinese border.
12:00 PM – Lunch in Lung Cu
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our journey.
1:30 PM –Lung Cu to Northernmost Point to Dong Van to Thien Huong Village (~32 km)
We make our way to Thien Huong Village, one of the oldest villages in Ha Giang. This peaceful village is home to the Giay and Nung ethnic groups, who live among the towering karst mountains of Dong Van Geopark. As we explore, we’ll learn about their unique customs, traditional houses, and way of life.
3:30 PM – Thien Huong Village to Dong Van (~30 km)
We return to Dong Van by late afternoon, arriving around 5:00 PM. Here, we will check into a hotel, relax, and prepare for the evening.
7:00 PM – Dinner in Dong Van
Enjoy a warm meal and take an evening stroll through the charming old town before resting for the night.
DAY 3
7:30 AM – Breakfast at the hotel
Start the day with a hearty breakfast before hitting the road for another day of adventure.
8:30 AM – Dong Van to Ma Pi Leng Pass (~20 km)
We begin the ride towards Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s four greatest mountain passes. Hanging at an altitude of 1,200-1,400 meters, this legendary pass provides breathtaking views of towering cliffs and the emerald-green Nho Que River below. Aside from its stunning landscapes, Ma Pi Leng holds historical significance as part of the Ho Chi Minh Path, once used for military supplies during wartime.
9:30 AM – Trekking from Ma Pi Leng Pass (~1.5 hours)
From the Young Volunteers Monument, we embark on a hike across Death Cliff and White Cliff, ending at Panorama. This trek offers a chance to immerse in the local culture, observe the daily life of ethnic communities, and take in some of the most awe-inspiring views in Hà Giang.
11:30 AM – Ma Pi Leng Pass to Meo Vac – M-Shaped Curve – Mau Due (~35 km)
Back on the road, we ride towards Meo Vac, passing through the famous M-Shaped Curve, a winding stretch of road surrounded by towering limestone mountains. We take short stops to admire the scenery before arriving at Mau Due, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
1:30 PM – Mau Due to Du Gia (~30 km)
After lunch, we continue our ride to Du Gia, a serene village known for its lush rice terraces and peaceful atmosphere. Along the way, we’ll pass through misty mountain landscapes and witness the daily life of the Tay ethnic people, who cultivate the region’s vibrant green fields.
4:00 PM – Arrival in Du Gia & Waterfall Visit
Upon reaching Du Gia, we will settle into our accommodation before heading to a nearby waterfall for a refreshing swim and some time to unwind in nature.
7:00 PM – Dinner & Homestay Experience
We will enjoy a home-cooked meal at a traditional homestay, where we can relax and experience the warm hospitality of the local community.
DAY 4
7:30 AM – Breakfast at the hotel
Enjoy a traditional breakfast before starting the final stretch of our journey back to Hà Giang.
8:30 AM – Du Gia to Duong Thuong (~15 km)
We begin the ride back, traveling through the beautiful Duong Thuong Valley. After 10 km, we take a short break to breathe in the fresh mountain air and admire the peaceful surroundings.
9:30 AM – Duong Thuong to Thai An (~10 km)
This stretch of road takes us through dense forests, offering a refreshing and tranquil ride as we immerse ourselves in nature.
10:30 AM – Thai An to Thuan Hoa (~20 km)
Although this is a shorter route, it is one of the most scenic parts of the journey. The towering limestone mountains, sunlit cliffs, and misty valleys make for a mesmerizing landscape.
12:00 PM – Thuan Hoa to Hà Giang (~25 km) & Lunch
We arrive back in Hà Giang in time for lunch.

For later departures: We continue exploring Thon Tha Village and Ha Thanh Village, where you can experience local life and observe farmers working in their rice paddies.
4:30 PM – Visit to the Sixth Waterfall
To end the trip on a high note, we take a short visit to the Sixth Waterfall, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim or simply relax in the peaceful surroundings.
5:00 PM – Return to the hotel & prepare for departure
